SYMBICORT®/RILAST® (budesonide/formoterol) PHARMACY PROGRAM

AstraZeneca Pty Ltd is pleased to be partnering with PharmaPrograms to provide community pharmacies with the opportunity to participate in the Symbicort®/Rilast® Pharmacy Program. This program supports patients who have been dispensed SYMBICORT®/RILAST® (budesonide/formoterol) and aims to enhance medication adherence and compliance. The Symbicort®/Rilast® Pharmacy Program is available to adults and adolescents (12 years and older) using Symbicort® or Rilast® via a turbuhaler or rapihaler for the treatment of asthma, including symptom relief and reducing the risk of exacerbations^_1-4. This excludes asthma patients with mild disease who have been prescribed Symbicort® or Rilast® as needed (PRN) without daily maintenance doses.
